After
a girl initiates
a Passage Program, it is now time
for her to invite other girls and mothers and other women from
the community to an event. Staff from Girls Initiate
will help to plan and create this event. In
deciding what kind of event to have, it could be dependent on
the type of program she chooses. For example, if she wants a
program like Girls Transition,
she may want to have an educational dvd showing or a talk about
issues facing girls today. Or, if she wants to have a program
like Girls Express she can
have a Goddess Dance event or a creative exploration of feminine
archetypes. A Crescent Moon Mysteries
event might be a Council of the Grandmothers speaking together
with girls and women and exploring native tribal ways of initiation.

could be a fire-making ceremony. for

These are just some examples of the event preceding the final
step which is the creation of the Passage-Circle.
